The Heatenergists Group (HEG) is led by Prof. Bingyang Cao, chairman in School of Aerospace Engineering, Tsinghua University, China. HEG’s research areas are mainly focused on: (1) Non-Fourier heat transport and thermophysical properties of nanostructures, including nanofilms, nanowires, graphene, polymer etc; (2) Thermal functional materials, such as smart materials with tunable thermal properties, nanocomposites and thermal interface materials with high thermal conductivity, nanomaterials in energy or nanoelectrics; (3) Thermal management technologies in IC, energy, MEMS/NEMS, laser, spacecrafts etc. Our research is interdisciplinary and involved in energy, aerospace, thermophysics, micro/nanofluidics and material sciences. HEG has established, as well as is seeking, extensive collaborations in research & development with universities, institutes and industries.
