The 16th International Heat Transfer Conference (IHTC16) was held in Beijing on August 10-15. Prof Bingyang Cao served as the general secretary of the conference, chaired the Young Researchers Meeting (YRM) on August 13, and cochaired the session "Boiling and Evaporation" on August 15. On August 11, he participated in the AUTSE (Asian Union of Thermal Science and Engineering) Executive Board meeting. Mr Jihang Zou also attended the IHTC16 and delivered a poster presentation entitled "Thermal resistance at graphene-water interface".
