Prof Miroslav Grmela at Polytechnic University of Montrail Canada visited HEG on Sep 22-Oct 07. He introduced his new GENERIC theory of multiscale thermodynamics by 3 lectures, respectively entitled "Multiscale thermodynamics-main new features, placement among other viewpoints of thermodynamics", "Multiscale heat transfer", and "Reductions, extensions, multiscale mechanics of complex fluids".
