The 17th International Heat Transfer Conference, IHTC-17 was held on August 14–18 2023 at Cape Town, South Africa, hosted by Stellenbosch University, South Africa. Mr Yang Shen (coauthors: Yang Shen, Xuesong Chen, Yuchao Hua, Hanling Li, Lan Wei, Bingyang Cao) won the Best Paper Award of Poster Session with his paper "Influence of bias-dependent heat generation on non-Fourier thermal spreading process in GaN HEMTs". Zhike Liu et al also attended the IHTC with a paper entitled: Thermoreflectance thermal imaging investigation on non-Fourier heat conduction in GaN transistors.
